Cross-device sync

One cart follows the shopper from guest checkout to signed-in session — no lost baskets.

Conflict-free merge

Deterministic line-item merge when two sessions touch the same cart.

Edge-cached reads

Cart snapshots served from the nearest PoP; writes stream straight to origin.

Sync a cart

Send the local cart state; receive the merged, authoritative cart back. Idempotent by cart_token.

A bare GET on this path returns 404 by design — the endpoint accepts authenticated POST only.
